ESO 4: ORAL PRESENTATIONS ABOUT DRUGS
Eso 4 students prepared very nice glogs to summarize the learning unit about drugs.

NETLANGUAGES: A TOOL TO IMPROVE LISTENING AND SPEAKING SKILLS

We have been selected to test a new tool: Net Languages. It's an online, content-based course for students of ESO 1 and ESO 2, which follows the Catalan curriculum of competences, with an emphasis on active competences.
This course has been designed by International House and we are taking part in a trial test monitored by the Department of Education.

EXPODIDACTICA 2010: AULA TAC
For 3 days, AULA TAC features lectures, experiences and exhibitions about the use of ICT in learning contexts. Of special interest were the lectures by Catalan schools that are implementing the 1x1 project, the project that provides students with laptops and digital materials, setting up a new educational paradigm.

Batxillerat 1 students researched the topic of preserving the future of the planet and came up with very interesting ideas about what is going on and how we can help preserve the health fo our planet, which they expressed through images in their virtual posters and told the class about.

GLOGGING THE BIOMES
ESO 1 students have made a glog (virtual poster) about different biomes and have told the class about them. Glogs are so visual! students design them with pictures, videos, sound.. that represent the topic they want to talk about. View some glogs here

BANNED SONGS by Shanti,Joan & Albert

Three students of the EFL Teacher Training Masters Degree prepared an activity about banned songs for ESO 4. In webquest format, the students listen to 3 controversial songs, read the lyrics, search the web for information about these three bands and answer the questions in their blogs.
